Fabrics and Technology

A: Yes, it is a patented product in many countries.

A: Modal is an regenerated cellulose fiber from Austria Lenzing, its raw material is extracted from the European beech wood. To make it into pulp, then process it into fibers through special spinning process. Modal products have good flexibility and excellent moisture absorption, but poor stiffness. We often used modal 40s. Micro-modal is a step upgrade from regular Modal also from Austria Lenzing. The products that produced with Micro-modal are obviously finer and lighter, and feel like a "second skin". We often use Micro-modal 50s, 60s, 80s when manufacturing our products.

A: Combed cotton is an extremely soft version of cotton made by specially treating the cotton fibers before they are spun into yarn.  When cotton is combed, fine brushes are used to pull out any remaining impurities, along with short cotton fibers, leaving behind only long, straight fibers which are even and aligned. The texture of combed cotton is softer, stronger, and less pilling. Over all, Combed Cotton is much better than conventional cotton.

A: Spandex is a synthetic fabric with elasticity. The fabric is able to expand up to 600%-700% and spring back without losing its integrity. Spandex was developed by Dupont in 1958 for commercial use, and become one of the most well-known brands of spandex called Lycra.
